November 2020 Portrait Sessions

November turned out to be much warmer than October bringing more sunshine and less snow. The fall colors were mostly gone but I was still able to bring out some vibrancy in post production. As this crazy year comes to an end, so will this blog as I have decided to retire it after this post. You can follow me on Facebook (@SachaStaufferPhotography) and Instagram (@sacha.stauffer.photography) though to keep up with my most recent work. I had a great time catching up with all these familiar (and some new) smiles last month and here are a few of my favorite captures. I hope you have enjoyed this blog and Happy Holidays to you all!

October 2020 Portrait Sessions

October was a little different this year. Not only was it colder than usual, we also got a couple “winter” storms that brought significant snow, causing a few sessions to be pushed into November! The fall colors were vibrant this year but very short lived so we really had to take advantage of the few warm days Mother Nature gave us. It was fun to see all these beautiful smiles again (some for the first time) and here are a few of my favorite shots. Enjoy!

September 2020 Portrait Sessions

Now that the fall portrait rush is over, I finally have some time to catch up on my blogging. September turned out to be a beautiful month for outdoor sessions! I had the pleasure of capturing portraits for seven families and one high school senior. Here are a few of my favorite shots from each session. Enjoy!

Miss E. Senior Portrait Session, July 2020

Last week I had the pleasure of capturing senior portraits for this soon-to-be 2021 high school graduate!  Miss E. was a natural in front of the camera and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.  We photographed along the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis and here are a few of my favorite captures. Enjoy!

A. Family, Portrait/Maternity Session, July 2020

A little over two weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting this growing family for the first time!  As you will see their two year old daughter was quite the little ham in front of the camera and this month she will have a baby brother to cuddle.  It was a beautiful morning and we photographed at Burwell Park.  Here are a few of my favorite captures. Enjoy!

Baby A. Newborn/Family Portrait Session, July 2020

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting these brand new parents for the first time who welcomed their first baby girl 9 days prior!  Baby A. was awake for most of the session but never made a peep.  Luckily she fell asleep just long enough to nail her up-close sleepy pose shots like a pro.  We were also lucky enough to get her canine siblings in for a few shots as well!  We photographed at their home and here are a few of my favorite captures. Enjoy!

The E. Family, 3 yr & 6 yr Portrait Session, June 2020

Three weeks ago I caught up with this family of four to capture their boys 3yr and 6yr milestones!  It’s been fun to watch these boys grow over the years and they never miss an opportunity to ham it up in front of the camera.  We photographed at Ritter Farm Park and here are a few of my favorite captures. Enjoy!

Miss S. Senior Portrait Session, June 2020

Three weeks ago I had the pleasure of capturing this 2021 high school graduate’s senior portraits!  We started photographing on a farm to capture some shots with the horses she rides, then made our way to downtown Excelsior, and ended our session at Burwell Park.  As you will see Miss S. is a natural in front of the camera and even though it was hard to choose, here are some of my favorite captures. Enjoy!
